Since the sea is just outside and contains plenty of fish there is also the possibility to go
fishing which many locals do in the evenings.

The championship course La Manga Club South Corse, which is mentioned in numerous golfing magazines, is close by. Another renowned golf course, Mar Menor, is located in Murcia at a short distance from the apartments.
For those who are interested in football, there are a couple of teams nearby, including Murcia which is about a drive 45 mins away. They are in the league under the La liga, but still meet teams such as Barcelona B.

In Puerto de Mazzarron you can stroll on the newly renovated seafront, which also offers several fine restaurants as well as a nightlife that is enjoyable.
During the day,you can go by boats from the harbor with glass- decks that allow you to see the water life from the boat, you can also venture out to watch dolphin.
If you like shopping and lots of culture, there’s the Roman city of Cartagena on the other side of the mountain, it’s a city that blends old with new. The city center of Puerto de Mazzarron also offers shopping as well as a lot of restaurants.

Isla Plana is only 1.5 hours by car from Europe’s ski resort, Sierra Nevada, which has a snowy season from December to May. There you can break off your summer holiday with skiing and then return to Isla Plana in the afternoon, wear shorts and go out and eat in the Spanish evening heat.
